Inspired by the zodiac sign Taurus and the Funk as a groove & philosophy
mixed with the power of jazz progression , Antoan Kurt better known as Adnan Kurtov one of the leading Macedonian Singer - Actor / Songwriter / Composer / Producer , meets one of the greatest Macedonian Avant - Garde Jazz Musician Antonije Arandjelovic known as Performance Artist / Composer / Piano Guru.

In October 2009 they come to idea to form a band
in witch there close friend Kareem Smith from Split / Croatia gets involve as a godfather of the band and gives the name Taurus Funk Power .

Taurus Funk Power with the album La Rouge brings the nu wave of jazz & funk in the modern jazz music industry today & got ranked with the greatest jazz artists of all times such as : Herbie Hancock , Miles Davis , George Duke ...

Why the name La Rouge ?
It 's all about the Taurus zodiac sigh who is always hypnotized by the colour of red in french Rouge . Adnan Kurtov is Born on 15 of May which means he is the Taurus and his musical tween brother Antonije Arandjelovic is the Funk Power.
